Pros

There are very few pros, other than if you have the right supervisor, your schedule can be made a bit more flexible, or you may have the option to work from home if needed. Those perks are not really consistent from supervisor to supervisor, so if your supervisor doesn't believe in those options, that eliminates the only perks that are offered.

Cons

A daily beating from clients and upper management alike, your day is filled from start to finish with homeowner clients complaining about everything from dog poop or a courtesy letter they received for breaking rules or not maintaining their home to why they have late fees or weren't notified that the public Road two blocks away is being paved. The workload for manager level staff is unmanageable, and if you aren't sneaking a few hours of extra work in every night to try to stay on top of things, you are made to feel like you don't know how to manage your time (or anything at all for that matter). The company direction has become so focused on the bottom line that they don't seem to be able to see the shift in the customer service level, which used to be pretty stellar and is now mediocre at best. It's like the upper management is so worried about how the branch looks to people at the Texas headquarters (and how they can get promoted), they stopped caring about how we look to our clients in Delaware, Montgomery and Bucks counties, and they pay our salaries! It gets old having to apologize for all the new roll outs that NEVER seem to go right, and there is no real accountability among the decision makers. In general, the leadership is ready and willing to toss any employee under the bus.

Pros

Co-workers, some benefits, paid holidays and 2 weeks vacation first year.

Cons

Recent branch executive level changes with no understanding of the business and our clients. 3 Branch Presidents in 3 years, a sign of instability and lack of organization. Not a good work environment, employee morale is very low. Understaffed as jobs were cut to move functions tot the client shared service center.

Pros

I cannot really think of any. The company has lost its focus. It doesn't treat people well. It's bottom line focused and couldn't care about people.

Cons

Good job. You fired three more seasoned executives in Texas, Ohio, and Canada. One of these people had more than 25 years experience and was your leader of every pilot the company ever did for a new program. Instead of having class and loyalty you showed you have zero and will fire someone whose issues resulted from your own corporate failures. If you aren't ashamed you should be. You have built a place that will never be a "best place to work"!
