Pros

During my time with Associa, I have enjoyed the wonderful team of people in the San Antonio office as well as those in our corporate office that I have had the pleasure of working with. The Branch offers quite a bit of flexibility for the community associaton managers and the company provides opportunities for education and career advancement. The San Antonio Branch has an outstanding Morale Committee that plans events and functions to help build and maintain that "team" spirit.

Cons

Some processes could be better streamlined and fine-tined, but the team is always working to make improvements.

Pros

Managment encourages all employees to be a family and work as a team. Company and team building events are held to bring people closer together. Associa also believes in a work - life balance, and tries to ensure all employees are taking care of themselves, first. Numerous incentives are offered for employees. Associa offers many programs such as an online university and weekly traning webinars. Each employee has the opportunity to grow and gain more knowledge of the industry. Becasuse Associa is a nationwide company, employees have many resources. Other employees are always available to answer questions and give advice on situations.

Cons

Sometimes it appears as though Managment does not listen to their employees. There is also a disconnect in communication between Managment and employees. People that are placed in leadership roles do not seem to have the best interest of the company in their mind, or it seems they do not look at the big picture. Several leaders cannot be trusted.

Coworkers were super nice and great to work with. They keep you lifted and wanted to return everyday even though management sucks.

Cons

Pay is horrible and management does not listen to what you have to say. They just do what they want and don't listen.
