Pros

Really really nice co workers, they try really hard to do things to improve morale (decorating for the holidays) gift exchanges, birthdays, team lunches. The employees are incredible nice. Work life balance is good because you hit the door running at 5 p, and don't think about that company until the next day. People are really excited for Fridays there. Not a very high morale and no one really seems to care about the job or the company. You go in, work your 8 and go home.

Cons

Pay is low, work load slowly sneaks up on you with special projects and added job duties until you are overwhelmed. High turn over. I am converting to a full time employee and found out that insurance rates are horrendous. For an employee and children it is $814.00 a month, employee and spouse $1,107 and for employee, spouse and children a staggering $1,637.00 a month. That's more than my rent. That's half my income. Needless to say, I'm looking for another job. Don't quit a job to work here unless you have other insurance options. I wish I hadn't. Doesn't seem to be any or much room for advancement unless you came in a leadership position. people who have been there a year or more are still doing the same thing, just more work.

Pros

Nationwide provides ample opportunity for growth and movement. Company is working on standardizing branches across the nation. Variety of branches to work for provide variety of experiences.

Cons

Variety of branches across nation can lead to very negative experiences. Branch too focused on profits, rather than customer service or employee retention. Team members are completely overwhelmed and taken advantage of with no proper support or appreciation. Employees expected to take abuse from clients with no support from leadership. There is absolutely no training for new managers. Expect to get thrown in and figure your way through the mess. Too many systems used that are dated and/or do not integrate with each other. Very confusing and extremely inefficient, leading to increased time completing tasks. Pay grades are uneven, leaving employees to feel undervalued. Employees expected to push Associa's sub-par maintenance department onto clients for profits at the sacrifice of better ethical practices. Associa's maintenance company is based out of Minnesota and is entirely understaffed for the insurance claims and work they take on, resulting in very poor project management, workmanship, etc.

Pros

Coworkers were super nice and great to work with. They keep you lifted and wanted to return everyday even though management sucks.

Cons

Pay is horrible and management does not listen to what you have to say. They just do what they want and don't listen.
