Pros
Really really nice co workers, they try really hard to do things to improve morale (decorating for the holidays) gift exchanges, birthdays, team lunches. The employees are incredible nice. Work life balance is good because you hit the door running at 5 p, and don't think about that company until the next day. People are really excited for Fridays there. Not a very high morale and no one really seems to care about the job or the company. You go in, work your 8 and go home.
Cons
Pay is low, work load slowly sneaks up on you with special projects and added job duties until you are overwhelmed. High turn over. I am converting to a full time employee and found out that insurance rates are horrendous. For an employee and children it is $814.00 a month, employee and spouse $1,107 and for employee, spouse and children a staggering $1,637.00 a month. That's more than my rent. That's half my income. Needless to say, I'm looking for another job. Don't quit a job to work here unless you have other insurance options. I wish I hadn't. Doesn't seem to be any or much room for advancement unless you came in a leadership position. people who have been there a year or more are still doing the same thing, just more work.
