Pros

Accrue 30 min PTO every 8 hours, begin accruing on 1st day of training. Culture is relaxed, bright, and open, 6 weeks of training, 3 classroom, 3 floor, $14.50 starting, with night and weekend shift diff.

Cons

Computer systems are slow due to computers using virtual machines, they say there's opportunity to move up, but there was nothing available for me to move into the five months I was there.

Pros

Great environment, newer facilities & bonuses are ok if you manage to obtain them. Location is in a pretty decent location.

Cons

I worked at Asurion Las Vegas for roughly 8 months. Having previous call center experience, Asurion was horrible compared to others. They have overrated or ridiculous policy's & expectations. I was one of their top rated reps with consistent stats, yet I always lucked out on commission or advancement opportunities. Why you ask? Failing for missing many redundant expectations on calls. Not Using customer's name a certain amount of times, not saying please and thank you throughout the call, not offering to download an app nobody would use. But yet, customer feedback on myself was ALWAYS positive I was placed on a one year write up (YES 1 WHOLE YEAR) for using my mobile for locating a customers issue. Because systems were frozen At the time. This write up caused me to miss out on bonuses, management opportunities & travel opportunities. It wasn't until I gave my resignation notice that they tried to negotiate the write up. By then I was already checked out. Asurion was a trip to say the minimum If you are just hired or looking for employment with them. Don't let the cool environment there fool you. Because you'll pay the price. Eventually!
