Pros

Workforce Management opens up Voluntary Time Off almost daily, and you have the choice of choosing to either be pay or not paid

Cons

EXTREME Micromanagement, Can Only Use Specific Tools, They care more about downloading an app on to customer's phones than actually taking time to help the customers, things like handle time, transfer rates, and setting call backs for another rep to call them back are more important than seeing the issue through yourself

Pros

The company offers challenging work with a lot of different cutting edge technologies so work never gets boring. Asurion provides opportunities to learn and develop new technologies, and I’ve worked on a number of projects that involved unique software development solutions that were pioneering in the field. We often work directly with vendors and partners to develop new solutions that are later provided to the general public so that other companies can leverage the same solutions in the future. The company provides a healthy collaborative environment, and solid opportunities for career and personal growth.

Cons

At times the pace of the work can be a challenge in itself where deadlines can be unrealistic. This has tapered in recent years, and this was more of an issue when the company growth rate was tripling year over year. The growth rate is still very strong, but it is at a much more manageable pace this days.

Pros

Some of the supercisors i worked with were great. Positive attitudes and fun to be around. Used to have a fun culture.

Cons

Where do i start? I started off as a technician and quickly made my way into tge supervisor ranks. At firat, it was a great job and we were still a relatively small site. As the site grew past 1000 the focus of our business seemed to change from being a "premier white glove experience to our customers" to " lets push a worthless app to every customer so we can stop losing money." From a supervisor point of view, i have never managed such a dense group of unqualified and unprofessional technicians as i did at Asurion. Upper management is afraid to terminate anyone unless they basically did anything illegal. If you want to performance out a person who lacks performance or doeant show up to work 60% of an entire month, you need to document about 6 months worth of conversations before the termination will take place. Until that time has passed, you are just forced to deal with lack of performance, unprofessionalism, racism, and whatever else the typical technician wants to throw at you. Upper management needs to step up and start running their call centers as they need to be ran. I have never in my life been so happy to leave a "once professional" environment that did not know how to expand successfully or effectively. As a supervisor, i would not recommend this place to ANYBODY. As a technician, its a great place to work, theyll never fire you so you have all the job security in the world!
