The people actually doing the work really want to do their best and to grow with the company. They want the company to succeed and to feel like they are appreciated as a part of that success.
Cons
Management looks at the people doing the work as interchangeable expendable drones to be used, abused and disposed of. Managers build fiefdoms to protect their own piece of the business, only concerned for themselves and little concern for the overall good of the company.
