They pay on time which is not always the case in the Middle East The salary offered for this job was very good because the client paid top rates to Atkins so they could afford it Good company to work for if you are an engineer, planner or architect

Pretends to be a Global company but is very immature in that respect and each region behaves like a different company Claims to be a people company (The Atkins "Family") but this couldn't be further from the truth as it doesn't value its employees at all unless they are billable every single working day Makes a big play of having PDPs for all staff but provides minimal Learning and Development opportunities or budget to make PDPs achievable Worst HR Department of any of the 10 companies I have worked for in my 30+ year career They have no idea when it comes to resource management or how to retain staff for the long-term. They just hire and fire on a project by project basis
