Pros

Well organised with good support for people who fit well into the Atkins way. Plenty of opportunities for people working in general engineering and project management.

Cons

Large pockets of teams with poor general engineering skills. Not a good place to improve your technical and design skills. Proceedure, process and managers can often drive designs towards poor quality. Poor management of staff means that the best for a particular project are often not working on it.

Pros

Good package can get if negotiate properly. Yearly increment 5%-12% easily.

Cons

company follow Hire & fire strategy. Good in cover up there mess. Long working hr. (9.5hr. min.) No OT or allowance for extra time work. Actual learning or career build up is very neglected. They run Indian offices as CAD Center (Management term is GDC) and management give opportunity to employee to learn & grow in very limited & Specific direction of there "GDC concept "(Global Designer Center). Company hired people in permanent role without long term planning and fire them once the project over.

Pros

- Great people, some of the friendliest people you will meet in the consulting industry - Exposure to interesting work in the public sector

Cons

- If you are working in London, you will be underpaid by circa £10-15K compared to what the market is offering. - The senior leadership exploits young consultants; offering them poor salaries and expecting them to work on projects alongside top consultancies that pay much more, and are shocked when they leave. - Retention is very poor on the graduate scheme, most leave to BIG4, capgemini etc.
