      Hard to think of any, just living in hope that SNC give it a shake up

      Cons

      Maternity Leave is shocking Sick Leave is shocking Internal Role Movement Pay is shocking Not taking responsibility is shocking, very much blame culture Under Staffed, Under appreciated Complaints are not dealt with, questions at avoided No continuity across the business in regards to the way staff are treated

      Flexible working, well educated and intellectually stimulating colleagues

      Cons

      Senior management's fondness for reorganising / promoting / demoting staff with no clear objective or measurable outcomes has resulted in low staff morale and an appallingly high turnover. Clients have little confidence in senior management so do not place any larger (economically viable) packages of work, preferring to direct and manage staff themselves. This drives down salaries to below the market rate, resulting in a steady flow of good staff to work for clients.

      Pros

      During my 5 years at Atkins I worked with may great people who excelled in spite of the company, including their best CEO, Keith Clarke. Once you reach promotion to senior management, the professional development opportunities are excellent.

      Cons

      Low value, poor salary and benefits to no senior employees. Focus on bottom line rather than professional excellence.
