      Pros

      Most employees are pleasure to work with, decent hours, weekends off, decent benefits, clean environment

      Cons

      No overtime, subpar technology, all about charts and numbers statistics, things get done in ways that never make sense, really poor communication, company wants memorization of their values, mission, goals, etc., but does not lead by those actual values or examples. Does not seem to care about the low morale that has enveloped its employees, took away incentive program. Does not pay/schedule employees equally, does not equally hold same expectations with each employee.

      Pros

      Great co-workers and very solid local mid-management.

      Cons

      HR is very poorly managed. Focus on completing 12 lean project activities, with 30, 60 and 90 day report-outs, is insane. It’s impossible to effectively complete a 30 day report-out before another project is started. Local management has little strategic control. Production goals are extreme leaving little opportunity for work-life balance. Truth is not a core value in Atkore.
