Pros

They make decent offers to join and promise commissions galore on the back end but.....see CONS

Cons

They cut draws and comp quickly. Also I heard they took government bailout money when pandemic hit and furloughed almost everyone for a month without pay even though the government paid them. Lot's of turnover and backstabbing and very little true direction from ownership.

I’m sorry your time here wasn’t what you were hoping for and that you weren’t happy with my leadership - I will try to do better going forward for everyone here at Atlantic. Thankfully you won’t be burdened with our “awful” reputation going forward, and there will be more pizza and donuts for everyone. I would like to clarify just one of the misstatements in the review you posted. Commissions are not “promised on the back end”, they are earned and happily paid. Each employee, before they start, are given a commission schedule that outlines exactly how commissions are calculated and paid, and I would be happy to explain or clarify that schedule to any current or prospective employee if needed. I think it’s unfortunate that sites such as Glassdoor exist in their anonymous form. It doesn’t take a lot of courage to kick dirt on others after the door has been shut behind you, while hiding under the blanket of anonymity. It’s hard to take anonymous reviews seriously, especially one that, other than your opinion about my leadership, doesn’t contain a single fact. Pros

I didn't work for The Atlantic Group but I worked with them as a candidate. I am here to Express my gratitude towards Nayan Joyappa and The Atlantic Group. Nayan contacted me after I was let go from my previous job in April and by June I was employed in a role I love that met my comp requests. He went above and beyond for me and got me a title change because he knew I preferred a different title. Huge advantage working with them going in to the interview process as their recommendations hold weight. This was much better than working with other recruiters. Nayan helped me with my resume, career direction, and interviewing on top of securing me the interview. This is a quality company and I'd definitely recommend them to a friend or coworker.

Cons

I had worked with other recruiters and had low expectations going into this admittedly, but those expectations were blown away. They worked diligently and quickly to place me in the right role.
