Plenty of hours to make money due to overtime.

Cons

Days are very unpredictable since you don’t get schedule until 5-7pm the night before. Makes it impossible to have a life around work on the weekdays. Had no idea I was hired to do Asphalt testing until my first day. Communication is lackluster, and pay is bad for the amount of work we do. Without us technicians the company wouldn’t be able to function. We are ultimately undervalued.

Its a good job right out of college if you can find anything else. They will pay for your training and you can normally get a bunch of overtime

Cons

You don't know your schedule until the night before. You won't know how long or late you're going to be working until it happens. Company is very top heavy which leads to low pay for the people at the bottom
