Pros

I worked with Atlas for 6 years when I straight out of the Marine Corps. The IT and defense contracting skills I learned here were stepping stones in my career. I have moved on to become an IT director, senior network engineer, and principal network architect but all that wouldn’t have been possible without the foundation I got at Atlas. I’ve seen some of the comments left by other former employees and I can say they are not representative of this organization or their CEO.

Cons

It was demanding at times but all jobs are. You are expected to show up, do your job, and work for a living.

DO NOT WORK HERE!

Pros

Gained experience and systems training.

Cons

Management is greedy, unrealistic, and unsympathetic. YOU WILL BE REPRIMANDED FOR GOING THE EXTRA MILE! Co-workers lie and back stab to make themselves look better. Company pays 1/4 what other companies do and uses per diem as justification. Do not work here if you have any disabilities as you will be denied accommodation and punished for any related issue. Money goes straight to the owners instead of back in the company.

When I read this review, I initially thought the person had the wrong company. Most of what is claimed is the complete opposite of reality. Atlas actually has a program that rewards employees for going the extra mile. It is a Motivational Awards Program and we provide a luncheon and cash awards for being recommended as one who demonstrates our core values of Learning, Teaching, Flexibility, and Passion. Our wages are continually reviewed and revised to attract and retain great talent. We don't pay as much as some employers, but we are very competitive. Not really sure where the 1/4 comes from, but that is certainly a huge exaggeration. As far as not providing accommodation, nothing could be further from the truth. We make every effort to accommodate whenever possible if the need is communicated. The one thing that is very clear....our owners give back constantly to the community and to team members. We have an employee managed charitable giving committee that is very active and intentional in providing financial resources to non-profits with needs. What benefits that can be provided to team members is reviewed several times a year and the owners have a passion and commitment to make a positive difference in the lives of all who work for Atlas. I wish this person well in finding an organization that meets his or her needs, but few will find a more transparent, caring, dedicated, and supportive company than Atlas Technologies, Inc.
