Pros

There is plenty of overtime if you're willing to work sporadic hours with no notice.

Cons

If you enjoy organized schedules and infrastructure, this company is NOT for you! You will be working 8+ hour shifts within a moments notice; projects become emergencies because of poor management skills. Projects are not well defined, lacking clear objective and instruction.

Pros

The flexibility was very good when I first started. We had deadlines we had to meet but our typical start times were whatever worked for us as long as our work was completed. Eventually the wor was slow in my region and I was asked to travel around 50% of my time which I hadn't signed on for.

Cons

The manager for the building science division was utterly useless outside of reviewing reports! He wouldn't schedule jobs, organize anything, order equipment, etc. He literally just reviewed reports and that was it. There was next to zero consideration for family or outside life when it came to traveling.
