Pros

Free meals, the residents and the location is nice. Thats about it, can't really say anything else nice about this company.

Cons

Management is shady. Alot of underhanded things going on like raising rent or levels of care with out notifying families. Management talks bad about their employees uses profanity about their employees and nothing gets done about. No matter how many times you go to HR and complian about your boss it just gets swept under the rug. Alot of discrimination and favoritism goes on and no one says any thing about it. The RSD is very unprofessional and keeps their door shut 90 percent of the day. They do not communicate any thing with their employees and expect them do their job as if they know whats going on.

Pros

Atria is one of the top 5 assisted living companies in the US, which gives employees unlimited opportunities to move.

Cons

Atria claims to place it's emphasis on healthy employee relations, which is blatantly false. The corporate culture , especially in middle management, is toxic and hostile.

Pros

You get to make a difference in the lives of other, to the best of your ability. It's currently feeding my children, and putting clothes on their backs, one free meal a day. So many people quit, you can always pick up hours if you need the money.

Cons

They just pack people in here, and it seems like they cannot care for them. They do not make sure they are cared for. They are so concerned with making money, that they do not staff correctly, or make sure the residents are cared for, and they pay so much! I will be doing showers on the floor, and our pages aren't answered. No one is available. The maintenance man doesn't let me use enough soap to get laundry clean, we buy our own. :( They have high turn over, they can't keep a Nurse.
