There is a reason I've worked at Atria for 19 years - the company is amazing. My Atria family offered opportunities for me to work part time/full time over the years as the needs of my own family changed. Our company's leaders truly value the staff and lead by example everyday. There are so many opportunities to grow and learn... and the list goes on and on!

The only reason I showed up to this job everyday was my residents! You build great friendships with them and they learn from you as well as you learn from them

Cons

No one gets paid enough for the crap you have to do....especially being a med tech....doing a nurses job just about for min wage....Upper management could care less about lower staff...this company is all about making $$ but not to make it better for the residents or paying the staff what they deserve

Decent benefits, a little pricey. I don't have anything nice to say other than that. Residents were sweet when given respect.

Cons

Extremely LOW pay for the incredible amount of work required. Manager does not know how to run a kitchen or restaurant. Staff made up of mainly teens to early 20's who sit/stand around texting or eating while adult staff run around like idiots. Increase pay and hire adults who actually care about their job and the residents involved. Stop letting under age staff serve alcohol!!!! I could only stand TWO weeks of the hell the job endured. RUN, don't walk.
