Pros
Most of the people without titles are great and there is good peer to peer collaboration in problem solving. The concept was good and had a lot of potential if only qualified and skilled individuals had been put in leadership roles.
Cons
Long overdue for a deep cleaning of poor leadership. Temper tantrums, scapegoating and impulsive decision making are hallmarks of the CEO. Jen and the “people and culture” team have zero people skills and have cultivated such a negative hostile culture that people are constantly on edge. They are all more focused on giving the impression of a great work environment rather than actually making positive changes. The leadership and business teams do not listen to qualified engineers, let alone data, regarding the systems capabilities and issues. All they are doing is selling hype which is wearing off. You know the ship is sinking when the C-suite is no longer concerning themselves with building and maintaining a sustainable business and are instead marketing themselves in the media as successful tech leaders. Buyer beware.
