Not a healthy work environment

Pros

Training, opportunity for growth, flexible schedule, remote work, interesting work, mostly nice people, okay benefits. Can be okay if you fit the culture or just need something and willing to learn.

Cons

Unfortunately, it was toxic and my boss was condescending and disrespectful to me. I When I raised concerns, I was blamed or they were dismissed. Overworked, underpaid, and definitely overlooked. Extremely high turnover. Some positives but after I left realized much more how unhealthy it was.

I am very sorry to hear that you had this experience. Our turnover rate is very low maybe it just hit your group, but overall we retain employees very well. I wish you the best in the future and without more information about an office or group I can’t help others. Thanks for leaving a review we do believe they are very helpful and everyone’s situation is different.

Employees Are Numbers

Pros

Great benefits, decent pay, flexible time.

Cons

Poor management and lay-offs are common. Worked here for 2 years and within a few weeks of work slowing down they let people go. Also had three other coworkers let go under similar circumstances.

Pros

The projects that we worked on were interesting and my coworkers were fun to be around.

Cons

Management only cared about their own image and would always shift the blame to their team. I felt like I was talked down to and reprimanded often, but was also expected to train new employees even though I never got training. There were always unrealistic timelines to finish tasks, and I knew people who got their pay docked for late submittals. I also felt that there was some sexism in the workplace, and I have heard that from fellow employees as well. There was a very high turnover rate in my time there for these reasons, and why I ultimately left the company. On a personal note, I was sent a huge box of frozen meat for our Christmas gift. I am a vegetarian, but I made it for my family, and it tasted so bad we had to throw the entire thing out.

Thanks for taking the time to review Atwell. We never like to see these types of reviews they help us and we learn from each one. We tried to bring some Austin, TX to each employee this year celebrating our merger with Waldrop in December last year, and the Salt Lick, BBQ was a token of appreciation to all employees. I would love to learn more about your experience as we have a lot to unpack here. If you are ever inclined to reach out please do. Thanks again for taking the time to review Atwell and we will take this review and work to get better.
