Pros

Salary was somewhat good. Some of my colleagues were approachable and brilliant

Cons

Unlimited PTO initiative is a joke. Each employee had a billability goal. Projects were consistently overbudget. Employee turnover particularly those hired within 1 year was high.

Thanks for your review while 2022 is our first year trying out the Unlimited PTO it has been widely received as a fantastic benefit, and while everyone has billability goals we take that into account when utilizing PTO. I am sorry your experience ended with this feeling and hope that you have continued success in your career. We are excited about the professionals we have on staff and I agree most are approachable and brillant. Thanks again for reviewing us.

Pros

Great Corp Management, Fair Pay, Fun travel

Cons

No formal system of discussion tracking, I was told I warned of being fired during my firing meeting and had no clue. I also was pregnant and could no longer perform some duties, thus the reason for firing was "not enough work". Other moms in the business shared concerns about having to care for families and getting reprimanded for it.

Pros

The projects that we worked on were interesting and my coworkers were fun to be around.

Cons

Management only cared about their own image and would always shift the blame to their team. I felt like I was talked down to and reprimanded often, but was also expected to train new employees even though I never got training. There were always unrealistic timelines to finish tasks, and I knew people who got their pay docked for late submittals. I also felt that there was some sexism in the workplace, and I have heard that from fellow employees as well. There was a very high turnover rate in my time there for these reasons, and why I ultimately left the company. On a personal note, I was sent a huge box of frozen meat for our Christmas gift. I am a vegetarian, but I made it for my family, and it tasted so bad we had to throw the entire thing out.

Thanks for taking the time to review Atwell. We never like to see these types of reviews they help us and we learn from each one. We tried to bring some Austin, TX to each employee this year celebrating our merger with Waldrop in December last year, and the Salt Lick, BBQ was a token of appreciation to all employees. I would love to learn more about your experience as we have a lot to unpack here. If you are ever inclined to reach out please do. Thanks again for taking the time to review Atwell and we will take this review and work to get better.
