Pros

The staff is great to work with and makes the work enjoyable. The working hours are typical of a level II trauma center, as call is required of the job.

Cons

The working environment leaves a lot to be desired. The atmosphere is not about teamwork, as the younger generation has come onboard. Favoritism is shown for the younger employees, and the older employees are not valued.

Teamwork with floor nursing. Culture between most physicians and nurses is good.

Cons

Recruiters do not call you back and no email to let you know if the job was filled. Sent many emails to the recruiter with no response. Very political hiring process.

Reliable employment, never had a layoff within the organization. Coworkers are willing to help each other whenever they can.

Cons

Terrible work/life balance. Poor management on all levels. Very low end of compensation scale for national average. One of the worst evaluation systems for raises ive seen.
