Thank you for all of the time you spent supporting families at Autism Learning Partners and for improving the lives of those we serve. We appreciate your call-out on our supportive supervisors and training. We understand ABA may not be for everyone and we hope you can apply the skills gained at ALP wherever you go. Best of luck with your next chapter!

Pros

1:1 work with client, independent, allow flexibility in hours

Cons

No holiday pay, no pay if client is sick or come later after half hour, not much support given if need it as it depends on your supervisor, job environment can change pending on new director coming in.

We truly appreciate your dedication and commitment to helping our families. Thank you for your feedback about cancellations. Because we know the impact of cancellations, we’re actively piloting different programs to find solutions. At the moment, we do have many opportunities for our Behavior Technicians to work more hours, so if a person isn’t interested in working part-time, they have other options! Our goal is to offer our employees a range of scheduling options so they can work a schedule that suits their needs while still supporting our families. And while we aren’t able to observe every holiday, currently we do close our doors for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (and the day after), and Christmas Day. ALP is also mindful of how challenging the Behavior Technician (BT) job can be, which is why we do all that we can to support our employees, including providing benefits to those who don't work full-time hours. We offer benefits packages to employees who only work 20 hours per week, which most of our BTs can access. We encourage you to reach out to our HR team to review your elected benefits. There’s always a possibility they can help you take advantage of some benefits offerings you may not be aware of. Thank you again for all that you do for our families!

Pros

Company was able to accommodate to clients due to Pandemic and cared about employee safety as well.

Cons

It was a struggle to find hours. I intended to be full time and in the 4 years I was there, I received full time hours for less than 6 months and after receiving benefits for only a couple of months, they were revoked because I was unable to be scheduled for enough hours.

Thank you so much for your time here at ALP and for making a lasting impression on our families. COVID has been a long journey, and we appreciate you pouring your passion into helping our clients during this difficult time. Our employees' and clients’ safety will always be our priority. We now offer a variety of ways for our Behavior Technicians to work additional hours, so if an employee is interested in working part or full time, they have options! At the end of the day, our goal is to provide our employees with a range of scheduling alternatives so they can enjoy a schedule that works for them while also supporting our families. We love it when our former employees come back to ALP. If you ever decide you’d like to return, we’d love to get you scheduled for an interview.
