Pros

Co - workers, some supervisors and big field of independence ( can be scary for newbie)

Cons

Lack of job stability, full time job is in fact seasonal because ALP can’t manage your full schedule during school vacation or days off , full time 40 hour week mean that you need devote extra hours to travel between clients - school 5.5 hours+unpaid lunch + travel time + 2.5 hours with home case + travel back home + preparation for next day ( you need find time ) Lack of support from administration No help with licensing , zero growth opportunities

High Caseloads

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

very limited pros for this agency. I highly do not recommend it. If you are looking for a 17-client caseload where you are not able to provide adequate service then this is the place for you.

Cons

High caseload volume, working weekends, supervising anywhere between 12-15 BTs due to 17 client caseload requirements. Billable 30 hours a week with no work-life balance since you will be on call for saturdays.

Thank you for supporting ALP’s mission and making a difference in the lives of our families. We care deeply about our employees, and we always want to hear feedback to help us improve our employee experience and our company as whole. One example of this is our annual employee satisfaction survey. In seeking this direct feedback from our employees, we proactively strive to continue the conversation around what people want and need to feel supported and seen in their jobs. Work/life balance is a big priority for us, and we work hard to ensure our staff is well cared for. This covers everything from flexible scheduling and EAP benefits to training and support for our employees. And while we understand that work/life balance is important to our employees, that doesn’t mean it’s the same thing for each person. If you feel like you’re not getting the support you need, we highly encourage you to reach out to your Clinical Director to begin that conversation. If you’d like help in getting that conversation started, you can connect with us at reviews@autismlearningpartners.com.

Terrible company

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Able to move up in the company, but proves to be quite difficult

Cons

Everything about this company is terrible. Not enough hours, not enough compensation for commuting, and micromanaging every move you make - if you make a mistake, expect to hear from 3-4 different people telling you the same exact thing. Supervisors are useless, expect to work without supervision and hope for the best. Even if you try to move up or apply within the company, they make it extremely difficult. Do not work for this company

Thank you for your time supporting our families for more than two years. We appreciate your dedication to the families you worked with, and we’re sorry to hear your experience didn’t live up to expectations, especially around opportunities for promotion and growth. We put focus and resources on career progression for all of our employees nationwide. This includes tuition discounts for continued education, excellent mentorship programs, annual reviews, pay reviews twice a year for Behavior Technicians and advancement opportunities advertised on our career site and through internal communications. We appreciate your feedback and taking the time to leave a review.
