Pros

Helping kids reach full potential creating meaningful relationships w clients and family sign on “bonus”

Cons

unorganized as all get out literal children being trained for 2 weeks on zoom then being put with a child who requires real and a lot of care. I feel bad for the families using this company because even I didn’t feel even remotely prepared to go to someone’s house and implement things I JUST learned on another human that could affect them for life. so sad. management does not care about you or your life/needs Pay not worth the insane hours you work (understandable as we work around client availability and they require several sessions a week) If your client cancels on you, it’s on YOU to get in those cancelled hours before the week ends.

Pros

Getting to create on schedule within client schedule.

Cons

No work life balance. No appropriate mentorship. Thrown into the deep end. Did not follow ethics even when brought to attention. Zero employee retention.

Pros

- higher entry level pay (relative to other entry level, little experience opportunities) - paid training before seeing clients - mentorship with supervisors, opportunity for growth but you must advocate for yourself - leadership seem up to date with modern autism research :)

Cons

- additional meetings scheduled on weekends or that overlap with your client sessions so you must reschedule - company doesn't step in to compensate you when clients cancel - training doesn't prepare for facing serious behavioral issues which seem to be more commonplace
