      Pros

      Andrew Anagnost is an authentic, very smart leader who tells you the truth. His slight awkwardness is part of his appeal. That's really him being him. And there is a good effort overall to share the company strategy and goals across the organization. The big investment in culture starting 4 or 5 years ago was real and created a place with integrity. I worked with amazing, talented people who were good at their jobs. It's a pretty inspiring place to work and what some of the customers do with the software can be amazing.

      Cons

      The pace can be unreasonable. There is lots of discussion about and intention to protect a work/life balance, but the actual deadlines and demands don't allow for that. I saw that with most people I worked with. And, like all big corporations, there is some political posturing and infighting that doesn't help with the company goals or customer experience.

      Autodesk is a great place to work and a very interesting company to be a part of.

      Pros

      Great platform and very enjoyable place to work (at times). The company really gives back an investment to your well being.

      Cons

      Direct management/segment leaders are often very knowledgeable about our platform/offerings, but severely lack real experience in the verticals such as construction or manufacturing and our coaching on how to connect better suffers. Those customers need to hear from those actually from those industries, not someone who took a course or attends a trade conference a few times a year and thinks they’re a mfg expert. Sadly, we don’t mention this much as it may be deemed ‘offensive’ or ‘gender biased’ to suggest some don’t know enough about our targets and what they do to lead effectively.
