Cons

Managers can be overloaded to the point of practical inaction. Mobility can be very difficult - you might get stuck waiting years for a change for years without any concrete timeline. Benefits started changing for the worse. Continuing education was fully covered if approved until it became something they said employees would get more out of by contributing to their own growth.
