Worst nightmare ever

Pros

Well I guess there is more parking now. You get treated with the respect that all young children deserve. If you are luck you might get to see the new car the CEO just purchased while you get an employee lunch once a month. Don’t forget the generous time off you receive when you start. Oh wait they just started with an accrual system, so before you had to hoard all your time.

Cons

People are disrespectful and rude when you ask for help. You are expected to understand the software when guess what no one but 15 people know what happened. You spend much of you day aplogizing for false promises made to banks. Damage control constantly. The level of professionalism is none existence except for maybe 2 people in leadership. Hey and it was pretty awesome they promised everyone flexibility in our hours, a personal day once a month, and a accrual vs anniversary PTO system. Not even 21 days later they lay off 35 people, claim its for covid19 reasons when in reality the company is mismanaged. Got rid over a million dollars in annual wages by letting people go, but signed on 14 new clients last year. Something doesn’t add up.

It doesn't sound like you were happy to work here regardless of what is going on the world today and that's too bad. Not a good place to work. Chaotic and high turnover rate

monthly lunch. lots of overtime.

Cons

no communication, no leadership, knee jerk reactions by management, little documentation. high turnover rate. (I had 3 different supervisors during the course of my year there) expensive insurance, poor PTO options for employees that are just starting out. General unprofessional behavior. Management favorites could get away with murder. Nepotism.

Total lack of communication

Mid level employees are awesome

Cons

Communications is non existent. You can show up for work one morning and nothing is the same, access to necessary folders or files, or passwords or any one of a dozen other things has changed, and there is no previous notice. Everything is done word of mouth. If you don't overhear a manager or supervisor or the "security wonk" telling one person what's up, you are completely in the dark. There is no room for advancement and very little feedback regarding your work. The core software is so unstable that every time they manipulate it to fix one thing, something else breaks.
