Pros

RPA was and still largely is a hot market even if there is a massive gap between the messaging and reality.

Cons

It's a shame how awful the management team is. So many talented and wonderful colleagues on the front line that could have been highly effective in any other organization. Every quarter they'd fire and hire a new VP to put the blame on when the unattainable quotas were missed. They lead with fear and don't treat employees like humans beings - just dispensable cogs in a machine. We were always asked to pressure our customers to the point of ruining relationships. then we'd shuffle accounts, clean up the mess, rinse and repeat... Products are always released well before being ready. We all knew that a2019 and attended weren't ready but we had to force it on customers anyway. Absolute mess...

Thank you for your views on the Sales organization - as you might have heard, we've recently brought Chris Riley who is a very seasoned executive who's operating style is likely to alleviate the issues you raise - leading by fear is not a sustainable strategy.

Pros

- Fast growth has allowed the value of equity to grow by leaps and bounds. If you get in early enough, it could be good for your individual net worth. - The idea of automating boring work is a mucho important idea and the company is positioned well to serve growing demand, if it can get out of its own way. - The company is ambitious and focused on growing even more in 2020. If successful, it will be good for customers and us employees. - Lots of great new talent has come aboard in the last 12-18 months. The quality of some hires is truly astonishing. I am regularly proud of the people I work with.

Cons

- 2019 was chaos. The company wasn't ready to grow as fast as it tried to grow. Broken and understaffed IT, finance, HR, operations, facilities, and corporate teams really struggled. - Tenured leaders, including one or more of the founders, continue to resist change and hold the company back from achieving true greatness. Too much nepotism, cronyism, favoritism, and "that's not the way we've always done it"-ism. - The growth in equity value will be hard to sustain, so new joiners may not be able to benefit so much from options. Maybe it is time for a different solution. - Some terrible hiring decisions also happened in 2019. Already seeing higher turnover and destructive departures as a result.
