      Need new Leader at the top

      Pros

      There are some great people throughout the company. People who are doing Some incredible work.

      Cons

      It is time to make some changes at the top top. If the company is to be successful - financially - and make a move to IPO or acquisition, needs new leadership and experience at the top. The founders are not up for the job.

      Pros

      I am a 64-year-old woman working in a tech company. You think my life would be unbearable, right? WRONG. My manager gets who I am and has given me, at my age, the opportunity of a lifetime to work on juicy, high visibility projects and be exposed to the kinds of leaders I could only dream about in my previous jobs, where I frequently felt shut out. I feel I have done valuable work that has helped grow the company and I learn continually. I have even found good women mentors here.

      Cons

      You will be working weekends and into evenings. Sometimes work demands seem maddening and like any job there are tedious aspects, but welcome to the startup world. If you're up for that, buckle up for a wild ride into the galaxy!

      Glad that you are so enamored with the organization and the job you've been lucky enough to find at this stage of your career! You're rights about there being 'tedious aspects' but couldn't agree more that those are far outweighed by the 'wild ride' aspects of working at a high-tech rocket ship.
