Extreme turnover from the top down. Unfortunate "good 'ol boys" culture and merit is not assigned to the right person for the position. Unqualified hiring is determined by relationship rather than skill even in critical leadership positions. Hurtful short and long term for Autotrader.

The pros faded as the company became more involved with the parent company. Now it's a corporate machine, similar to the environment in the book/movie "The Firm" - everyone keeps telling you how great it is and how lucky you are to be there, but you know deep down something is really wrong. Too much politics, too many business decisions made based on who is liked and protecting the good 'ol boy culture. Yes, the salaries and benefits are good, but we need to stop praising companies for something that should be anyway.
