      Pros

      Great company with excellent benefits, travel, fun outings, work from home

      Cons

      High pressure sales, unrealistic goals, in the south Autotrader is King it is not the same in the northeast and there are people who don't even know what autotrader is, and they're rates are way higher than the competitors and they leave the sales people out to dry with skewed numbers we couldn't explain

      Pros

      A true market leader in the classifieds realm... amazing potential and scope to the auto industry. With change being the constant they learned from their mistakes early on and in the last few years rolled out tech products better and more efficiently. Sales through Service was a great mantra, and in my opinion should have stayed. Clients liked us better, and the environment was much more relaxed.

      Cons

      VERY... I repeat... VERY POOR middle level management. No consistency in such across the country, most of the manager's that I worked for had their own agenda in mind, NOT the client or ATC. The corporate america mentality killed the amazing workplace environment that the company had for many years.

      Pros

      Great people to work with, but necessarily to work for at ATC. This was a great place to work, but the cultured changed dramatically over the last year. The pay was very not very stable, and made it difficult to budget. The company is very generous with its resources. However, as an individual contributor there is very little autonomy to conduct good business. Also, opportunity is very limited and it appears that the model is to look outside company for management hires.

      Cons

      The business landscape is changing around ATC, but it appears that it is being ignored. Low to mid level management were at the right place at the right time. Many are not qualified to manage, but were promoted due to ¨being hot¨ at the time of opportunity. These managers would not have been as successful in current selling conditions.
