Cons
Have you ever been apart of a company that has revolving employee doors? That’s what this company is. When they find an employee, they’re gone within a year because they realize how bad it is to work here. Downsides in brief of working at Avantstay: - no work life balance (all consuming, working with other departments is like talking with brick walls, dumping all responsibilities on you.) - no one listens, or cares to. Very much a “just figure it out then I’ll yell at you for doing it wrong - even though you did reach out” - training. There is none. - all benefits are on the low end. With the addition of them adding in “fun employee benefits” that are so useless there’s no true benefit all to keep people reading between the lines and drinking the juice. - nothing about this company or the way it operates is ‘high end’, ‘luxury’ or ‘elevated’ if you’re looking for a company that is this to the fullest, turn and run for the hills. You won’t find it here. - allocation of $$ and acquisition of properties is handled as if no one knows the first thing about finances, or real estate. Dumping more money into down right awful homes then laying people off and create budget cuts to compensate for their poor decisions. Bad oversight, overall. - boasts about being a “technology” company but keeps the systems that don’t work and sunsets the systems that do because “new is better, even if it DOESNT WORK” they are effectively turning the field into an office, furthering the employees hardships in having the ability to work effectively and efficiently. - tasks lower teams with busy work so they are so bogged down they can’t get any of their actual work done. - care more about growth, sales, and marketing attempting to go corporate with a capital ‘C’ while missing the employees that are, in some circumstances, single handily holding entire markets together - with no support from anyone in upper levels. - they walk a THIN legal line. If not for all, just gives character to the company, upholding its terrible company culture. It’s very clear that they are in a state of floundering to keep themselves afloat, throwing things out left and right when the people that they have doing it don’t even know how to decipher their left from their right. This company, or ceo rather is just out for a cash grab. Wouldn’t surprise me if they tank themselves by mid next year.
