Great company to work for if you give it a chance
Pros
Exciting environment with excellent employees. Teamwork is obvious trademark. Company focuses on the safety of their employees and the quality of their product over profits. They are very committed to keeping employees gainfully employed even during down times. Promote a culture of asking for help without being ridiculed or embarrassed. Promote a culture of asking to be on less technical work if you're going through personal issues that may affect your attention to detail. Neither of these programs are abused by the employees. The company does a great job keeping the facility full. It is nice to know you have some security today. Most MRO's lay you off the minute the work slows down, Avmax has not done that
Cons
They lack technology. They are making improvements and have learn to maximize efficiencies with what they have, however they need to invest in technology that is available.
