Pros

Axalta has a great potential to dominate the coatings market. They bring to be table a wide array of some of the best in class coating systems and technologies with a global reach.

Cons

With the change from DuPont to Axalta, I had hoped that there would have also been a change in the mind set of the upper management; looking for long term goals for growth... however the focus on meeting monthly goals and trying to 'cost cut' their way to profitability did not change. They decided to cut cost by cutting much of their intellectual horse power (yes us 'Old-Timers' with 30 years+ experience in the industry) in favor of lower cost people. Axalta makes it hard to not feel like just a number on a spreadsheet in some accounts office.

Pros

i'm not sure i can think of any. a paycheck?

Cons

this is your standard traditional corporate environment, they don't care about their employees happiness, don't recognize work well done, or have any amazing benefits. forced back to office to "collaborate" when everyone sits in their cubes in silence and calls into meetings at their computer. if you are looking for a job you are not passionate about with 0 culture and just want to collect a paycheck, this is for you
