Pros
If working with machines, can get 12 jobs worth of resume experiences in one shot (travel, high voltage, clean-room, etc.) Great coworkers. Exciting travel. Hands-on experience outside the realm of traditional engineering.
Cons
Management - too many chiefs. Painfully inefficient - Axcelis often makes short term decisions with little or no regard to the long term. Little welfare for employees and poor benefits. Difficult mobility within company. Was much better a couple years ago but rapidly fell down hill with poor decisions crushing employee morale.
