Pros

People were nice. Free coffee.

Cons

Las Vegas office: I was mislead during the interview process about what I would be doing. There is no greenfield development in the invest portion. There is a management person in an office that would scream and swear super loudly. With the door closed you could clearly hear the yelling from 20 feet away. That's not off-putting to a new employee. I was set up to fail because: 1. I didn't have a completely working computer for two weeks after hire. I had to purchase hardware from Best Buy to get it working properly. 2. I didn't have access to things I was being assigned to, after two months of asking via meetings and multiple emails. So I couldn't fix anything. I had to come into the office, although I only interacted with people from another office online. The company has a poor Covid-19 policy. Several people were infected in the first two months of my employment. There is so much turnover that no one barely knows the current systems. Management was in meetings literally all day and unavailable to "manage".

Disgusting display of a corporate world job

Pros

Unless you're a favorite of upper management, there really aren't any

Cons

They put the cult in culture. You're either in or out and the first time you put family first or disagree on something they're pretty much done with you. No work life balance-I've taken many meeting calls while making dinner for my kids because Sr. Leadership blows off their scheduled meetings during work hours. Calls on the weekends at midnight.... For nonsense! They like to play mind games and lie to keep people around. They pride themselves in documentation but it's only because they have such high turnover so they need the work documented. Morale is always down, I've traveled to different offices and it's always quiet-no interaction, and everyone looks so sad and drained. It's eerie to experience. If this is a culture you are proud of and thrive in, then I think you might want to reevaluate yourself as a human being. It's all about money and how much you make the company, not for yourself. That's why your bonus pay is half stock, you'll lose it because you won't last three years to get it. If this is your only option for work, just remember you are better than that place, use it as a stepping stone and get out when you can. I'm seriously appalled at how things are ran, how people are treated, and talked about. The saddest thing is the CEO probably really doesn't know half of what is going on because he's too worried about money and HR hides the complaints. The HR is terrible and does not care for the employees. Just ask them if you're hired how they handle covid and how little they care about people and their kids situations. I was asked if I thought about hiring a nanny to stay home with my kids when they started school again. I was also asked if I had other family around to help so I could go in to the office. Truly, just disgusted at what I've experienced there and not proud to be a part of it.

Questionable Leadership Ethics

Pros

Facility is well-maintained. Snacks seem to be replenished faster than bonus payouts.

Cons

There employees who are disciplined for conduct that still work there and managers use their tenure as a justification. It’s tremendously difficult to even obtain the most updated work information that is consistently known by all managers and documented in the handbook. Constant changes without any transparency. Firing sprees for the most unjust reasons.
