Terrible Work Environment

Pros

The only pro is that you have a job, literally. Especially during COVID.

Cons

- This company pays about~15% less to their employees in terms of salary and benefits than any other company in the United States. - Extremely toxic work environment - Human resources is almost non-existent. Its about a team of 5 HR employees for a company of over 1,000 employees. - managers are employees who have made through the wreckage, so they tend to be terrible to their employees - Everyone deflects all their works to other departments. Zero team work within the company. - Every department is against each other - They do not pay out vacation or sick hours if you quit because "they are not required to" ( this happened to me). - "Bonuses" are taxed and misrepresented. You also get half of bonus in stock which you cannot USE FOR THREE YEARS. If you leave before the 3rd you lose the stock. - Your salary/bonus take into account how much they pay for your medical contributions. - They ask their employees to post reviews to Google to wash out the bad reviews. - They do not pay for your move when you are transferring from one location to the other, even though it's a "promotion". - As a bottom level employee, you get ton of crap from managers. For example, you get assigned a ton of work, but you get reprimanded for staying past working hours to complete the work because you are being paid overtime. - Company doesn't provide adequate environments for COVID to their employees. - Company is so cheap that they would rather keep useless employees instead of firing them because they do not want to pay unemployment. - Basically a dog-eat-dog world for nonsense. - work like balance is non-existent. - Senseless employer who only cares about the money going into this pocket and the board pocket.

Each individual is entitled to his or her opinion, but not his or her facts. Instead of rebutting the many inaccuracies and falsehoods in your review, we're just going to ask readers to consider your review in the overall context of your blanket assertions about police. We hope you find a better fit.

Pros

There’s no pros at all in this company.

Cons

It’s a very toxic environment. Very one sided, they don’t care about their employees. There is a lot of favoritism, HR is no help at all. They don’t pay their employees fairly nor do they compensate you for speaking a foreign language. It’s all use and abuse. No one ever has answers for customers, most customers call in complaining about how terrible customer service and I do not disagree with them not one bit. This is not a company that I would recommend to anyone to work for. After a few weeks you will literally hate your work life.

Sorry to hear your impressions of working on our team. We have a meritocratic culture, which rewards high-performing team members who achieve stellar results. Our pay packages are competitive which includes a merit-based bonus paid out twice a year. The bonuses are a mix of cash and stock that vests over three years. We highly recommend you speak with your manager about the issues you raised. Literal hatred of one's work life is not something we would wish on anyone.

Toxic culture, worst experience of my career

Pros

Opportunity to gain broad experience, work in a fast paced environment.

Cons

Management is disorganized, lacks transparency, and demonstrates little common courtesy in how they treat each other and their employees. They “lead” by instilling fear and distrust in their teams, resulting in low morale, deficient communications, and a complete lack of teamwork within the bank. Unless you are an SVP or above, base compensation is sorely below market.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. At Axos, our core competitive advantage is our meritocratic culture, which is marked by independence and self-governance. This enables us to operate with efficiency and agility, turning rational ideas into actions through our collective passion and dedication. This same culture also creates unparalleled opportunities for team members to grow and develop by taking on responsibilities that go well beyond what people with similar experience levels would find in other organizations. Our competitive compensation structure – base pay plus merit-based bonus – rewards staff who thrive within our culture, and who meet or exceed their objectives. We’re sorry to hear that this wasn’t the right fit for you, and we wish you success in the next stage of your career.
