Pros

The location beautiful La Jolla , CA

Cons

Before i applied to this company I was well aware of the excessive bad reviews. However, there was a bit of hope so I decided to give them a shot. It is by the grace of God that I survived a year. This is by far the worst company I’ve ever worked for. They have people in superior positions by default and it shows just by communication in general. Everyone is not treated fairly and they expect you to just shut up and be a puppet. If you are an assertive person that believes in speaking up for yourself this is not the place for you. You’d probably be better off at Wells Fargo. Not only are you underpaid it is torture if you have morals and integrity that you live by because there’s a lot of things that go on and obviously people talk about it amongst themselves but, afraid to speak up. There’s managers that lack respect for others, they speak negatively about staff and not afraid to do so in a 2nd language because they’re comfortable enough to think English is the only understood language. I don’t see this company lasting another 20 years. It’s not worth it DONT DO IT!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the experience you described; it's not representative of the culture we have and want at Axos. We’re interested in knowing how we can improve, which is why we conduct a confidential, anonymous employee survey each year. We want team members to be honest with us in keeping with our values of respect, responsibility, fairness, and caring. May you find what you are looking for.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. We’re glad you find the office environment enjoyable, although we differ with your remarks about remuneration, and we’re not quite sure what you mean about the ability to move up in the company. The Axos culture is meritocratic above all, and that means we provide opportunities for highly talented individuals to grow personally and professionally. At Axos, employees are able to take on responsibilities that go well beyond what people with similar experience levels would find in other organizations. Those who thrive in this culture are rewarded accordingly – both in terms of advancement opportunities and in terms of our competitive compensation structure, which comprises base pay plus merit-based bonuses. Those bonuses are paid out twice a year and are based on the individual’s contribution during the preceding 6-month performance period. It's our goal for you to grow personally and professionally, and so we encourage you to have a discussion with your manager about your career progression with Axos.
