Cons

No role clarity - you are senior QA but you perform QA lead and manager responsibilities. No standard practices. False Promises on Trainings.

Axos operates in a fast‑moving, highly regulated environment where QA roles are designed to be adaptable and hands‑on. Senior QA positions are expected to demonstrate broad technical expertise, ownership, and leadership as priorities and initiatives evolve. Practices and training are aligned to platform and team needs, and development discussions should be addressed directly with managers and HRBPs.

As a well-established, fast-growing organization, teams at Axos operate with distinct focuses, leadership, and working dynamics. This can naturally result in different team environments, allowing employees to find teams that best align with their professional preferences and working styles. Axos reviews employee compensation on an annual basis, with increases determined by individual performance and how outcomes align with role expectations and established goals. The performance review process and eligibility criteria are outlined during the offer stage to ensure transparency.

Pros

There is nothing positive to hold onto. Being misled from the start erased any chance of a good impression, and no part of this experience stands out in a good way.

Cons

Leadership is deeply dishonest and completely untrustworthy. False promises about pay and future increases were used as bait, only to trap me into long, exhausting hours for wages that felt insulting. The truth became clear when I discovered that newer and less experienced staff were earning more. That moment exposed just how little respect existed, and it made staying feel impossible. I walked out because continuing would have meant accepting blatant unfairness.

Compensation decisions are based on a combination of role scope, market data, experience, performance, and timing. As market conditions, roles, and responsibilities evolve, pay structures are reviewed and adjusted accordingly to remain competitive and aligned with business needs. Bonus and merit increases are discretionary and awarded based on individual performance and business considerations. We strive to communicate clearly and professionally throughout the employment lifecycle and remain committed to fair, consistent compensation practices.
