      Great way to get in the DOD contractor game

      Pros

      Service sector of BAE has high turnover and therefore will hire almost anyone to fill open positions. Challenging and interesting work. A great way to get some experience and a security clearance for entry level employees.

      Cons

      Terrible management. This is a classic good ol boys club. Diversity is frowned upon, mostly a white male workforce. Movement within the company is discouraged since many contracts are struggling to retain talent. Management is totally reactive, expect to spend most of your days in crisis mode jumping from one emergency to the next.

      Great Co-workers, nice facility, ok pay

      Cons

      It's all about cost reduction--relentless and unprofessional. Top management at shared services autocratic, vindictive, and out of touch with the reality of running shared services. They will do anything to cut costs-including not being fair to employees. Morale is horrible--extreme amount of turnover--unusual for any business.

      Easy internal transfers. Wide variety of work to expand skills.

      Cons

      Top management is full of retired Air Force. Little diversity of ideas. There are some skills they didn't seem to learn - like how to keep morale up. Decision making is done by edict - they don't care about input from the masses. THIS IS NOT THE AIR FORCE!
