Pros

Good overall benefits, pension, plus a good 401k match. Very casual work environment, laid back and generally flexible schedule. Clean and safe facilities.

Cons

Low financial compensation, very low wage growth and limited opportunities for advancement. Better place to end a career than start one.

Pros

Being off for your birthday with pay

Cons

Company works very short handed .Company makes a lot of broken promises to make it look as if things are going to get better, and it only gets worst. Working in the branch is very unorganized. Each branch, not region abides by different rules, and upper management is clueless. Operations officers tell incorrect information, and later give employees exceptions for the incorrect information they gave. There is minimal opportunity for growth unless you are in North Carolina, which is where the home office is located.

Pros

The hiring process was fairly easy. They fingerprint and run background checks just like any other bank. 401K, 2 weeks vacation,.

Cons

Its definitely an old boys club there, no new members allowed. If you do too much they feel intimidated, but if you do to little, you get disciplinary actions taken against you, so you have to find a balance even if they give you a huge work load. The managers in that department are unaware of their associates duties and their own because their training is poor. Nothing is documented, everything is a lecture, mostly via conference call from the associate that does the job or previously did the job. Often times they purposely leave out important information that would aid with the your job.
