Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. Our team regularly evaluates our application and interview process to ensure we are hiring top talent while providing a great candidate experience along the way. We are very transparent at the beginning of our process that it will take some time and effort to complete, but we understand that that is not best for everyone. We wish you the very best in finding a position that is the best fit for you.

Pros

Work from Home with several opportunities

Cons

Horrible company culture that doesn't value employees at all. You're treated as a contractor, hence the employer can get around for not paying benefits or overtime. Large percentage of your rate goes to the agency. Extremely hard to develop your career with no proven leadership and mentorship opportunities.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We are sorry that BELAY did not turn out to be the best fit for you. It is evident on our application that the Virtual Assistant role is a 1099 contractor role and that it does not come with health benefits, overtime, etc. We discuss this during the interview process as well. Virtual Assistants are responsible for tracking their time and communicating their hours with their clients on a regular basis so that clients remain aware of the use of their hours so that neither of you goes over your agreed-upon hours. Some people prefer to freelance as VAs so that they can charge a higher rate, however, freelancers have the weighty responsibility of finding their own clients, handling their own marketing, they do not have the benefit of knowing their clients were carefully chosen for them, and they do not have the support of an account manager or a contractor community who can share their wisdom with said freelancers. We believe we provide an incredible service for both clients and contractors alike, and our team is dedicated to serving well across the board. If you have specific suggestions on how we could better value our contractors, please send your suggestions to contractorservices@belaysolutions.com. We would sincerely appreciate your suggestions. We wish you all the best.
