      Training is really lacking for those wanting to advice. No growth for females in industry.

      We encourage and promote our tuition reimbursement program which pays 75-85% fees and tuition of undergraduate programs related to job. Graduate degrees are paid at 100%. Many have also added trade certificates and professional development skills through the local colleges and programs. We see growth through our employees that also volunteer and are members of professional associations like ASCE and these fees are also paid by the company.

      -Easy place to get a bit of experience before moving to better things -Free fruit -Variety of clubs (wellness, community engagement, environmental, public speaking) -Tuition assistance -Some good people to work with if you get put on the right team

      Cons

      There is very little to no respect shown for the GIS team. If you aren't an engineer then the company doesn't care. Some managers are controlling, obsessive, arrogant, and rude. If you don't get placed on the "right" team you will not enjoy your projects. Very little room for growth at the company and all internal training is geared towards the engineers or is "soft skills" training. Heavy drinking culture at the company. Not diverse.
