      It’s all about engineers...

      Pros

      There’s a ping pong table and a bar if you like that sort of thing. Depending on who your boss is it can be laid back. There isn’t much accountability so you can get away with a lot.

      Cons

      They don’t pay well unless you are an engineer. There’s no upward mobility. People never retire

      I apologize you feel that we are all about our engineers. We care about each of our employees no matter their skill set. We have promoted at least 6 people this year and it was a 50/50 split with engineers and other positions. We are an engineering consulting firm and do have many engineers. We have a lot of opportunity and that may not always come in the form of a promotion but an opportunity. We have a great deal of opportunity here at BHC RHODES. Gaining skills set help achieve growth in your career. As far as the accountability we will look into that ASAP for sure! Thank you for your feedback and we wish you well!

      Broken Promises

      Pros

      The office was top notch. This is what drew me in to begin with. The location in Overland Park is very accessible to 435 which makes commuting easy.

      Cons

      It became clear very quickly that there is an incredibly high turn over rate. I now know why that is. People were getting brought on by showing them the flashy office, then they were being worked to death with no regard for a work/family balance. It wasn't taking long for employees to burn out. Couple that with promises of bonuses and raises that never materialized, and it's no surprise people were leaving just as fast as they were being hired.

      Thank you for your feedback! This is the only way we will get better. Through the past two years we have collected feedback from our employees so we can put new changes in place where needed. We never want our employees to feel the way you did. We want them to have a work life balance and have a purpose. BHC RHODES continues to stay competive with our compensation packages. Many changes have taken place to help with work load, communication company wide as well as individual groups. We grew very fast with many lessons to learn. The great thing is the owners and managers care. We care enough to make the changes we need to and apologize when someone feels the way you did. BHC wishes you all the best and thank you again for your feedback. We are getting better each day and will continue to do so.
