Pros

- Salary is decent, "uncapped" commission that the company continues to make more difficult to obtain. - Core group of employees that you work with are a good group of people, but management continues to terminate the good ones.

Cons

- There is no leadership, just managers...BMO, there is a difference! - Incredible turnover, not just with frontline employee, but in management (including senior and executive management). Averaged a new manager each quarter and a new senior and executive manager each year. - Management claims to make customer based decisions, but that is wrong! All management is concerned about is manipulating numbers in their favor and talking customers into products and services that are beneficial for the company and not the customer. - Management is more concerned about tasks than coaching their employees to get better. - Management claims to live by the company "values" but only when it is convenient to them. - They have no desire on career development and preparing you for the next role or even helping find the right fit for valuable employees. ***If there was a Rating in the negative, that's the rating I would give to BMO Harris Bank. I would not suggest my worst enemy work for this organization...RUN!!!!

Pros

Pension, Well Capitalized, and some other decent benefits. They'll pay for your schooling and some other good perks.

Cons

Bad management. Managers don't know how to carry out senior managers message. Lot of times you feel like a doormat and even if you are a strong performer, you feel unappreciated.

Pros

Strictly as a banker, the specific goals are easy to obtain. Flexibility of not having to be in the branch the whole time, underwriters are actually helpful and can be called upon. Credit Builder Loan product is one of, if not the best product I have seen in banking. Great product to help customers rebuild credit, and a good way to counter no secured credit cards.

Cons

Where to begin. Spotty leadership above DM, think the DM is actually one of the best of I have worked with in my nearly ten years in banking. Terrible technology, focuses to make branch hit plan, not the banker. Too many conference calls that have zero value. At smaller banks, Managers need to bring business in and some managers do not do that instead putting all responsibility for goals on bankers. Terrible operational support. One of the worst. No one knows the answer and you basically have to fend for yourself. Specific area I worked in was set up for failure.
