      Pros

      9/80 work week - that is it.

      Cons

      This company does not know how to utilize technology. They are publically traded but still use blue books. The journal entry support is hand written and the recs are printed off and put into the blue book to be filed away in a cabinet! Has the mentality of "this is the way we have always done it." Most processes are very manual or add no value to the company (in accounting). Management is very unorganized. If you are a young professional and looking to expand your career in accounting stay away!!

      Wonderful place to work, great management and the HR folks really want you to be happy with your job.

      Cons

      Due to the military applications, this is a secure facility: no cell phone, rigorous background check, subject to secrecy, etc.

      Pros

      Easy upward mobility, 40 hr weeks, mostly friendly people, secure job, cool final product, and fills an important role for our nation. High percentage of retirees will allow for fast promotions in coming years.

      Cons

      It feels a lot like being in a prison where you can leave at the end of the day. The facility is old and filled with people who have been there 30+ years and inexperienced young adults right out of college or high school. The administrative burden borders on soul crushing. There is a form, road block, series or rules, and chain of approval for just about everything. Every government safety agency is onsite. The website blockers make your life outside work more challenging. Need two factor verification for your health benefits? Sorry your cell phone is in the car. Leadership maintains the facility is safe and healthy, but no 3rd party information was made available. Prospective employees are denied an opportunity to tour the site and interview answers often claim they can't provide an answer due to security concerns.
