Pros

You can start work on ground level and learn more about autism as well as more about leadership and gain the ability to lead within the company. The leadership team seeks out and acts on the information received from our staff and stakeholder surveys each 6 months. They look at the feedback for ways to improve . The agency is invested in building opportunities for people with autism to receive services that are shown to be effective for people with autism. A huge piece of that is working with and communicating with families.

Cons

Sometimes the hours are long. Especially during periods of staff shortages. It is sometimes hard to balance all of the tasks of the job into the session.
