      A great place to work

      Pros

      Work from home came within the first 2 months of employment, and if I had negotiated it probably could have come from the start. Connectivity with coworkers is still high despite working in several different states. A feeling of value and importantness early on.

      Cons

      Still using a 40-hour work week model, which I guess makes sense for a support role so that the phones can be properly manned but seems antiquated and like we are not able to offer our best efforts by end of the day on Friday. Starting pay is just a little bit low, however, I am wondering how quickly opportunities for increases in pay will be arriving.

      Pros

      The people are amazing, laser-focused, and driving towards a common goal. There is a culture here at BambooHR that is unique and fabulous!! In large companies, it’s very likely that as a new employee, one could be far removed from any strategic talks about the direction of the company - that's NOT the case here. Everyone is included in the conversation to allow for joint ownership.

      Cons

      Work is often done on very specific, segmented tasks. This can make it difficult to see the impact a small task has on the bigger picture. (But this is also typical for larger companies.)

      Cons

      -Not a lot of in office perks - but this isn't a very big deal for me given how great Bamboo is!
