      Pros

      BambooHR is a company that truly (and fully) lives it's values! The people here are friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. It's an organization that works hard, but embraces a more modern idea of company culture. Dress code is relaxed, meetings are focused, but also never stuffy or boring, and value is put totally on what you contribute to the team and how you help everyone pull together!

      Cons

      I really can't think of anything. Initially, I was bummed to give up my Aetna insurance for UHC, but I've been very happy with it. They're also making some great changes/additions to the benefit plans this year that take into consideration a growing virtual workforce.

      Pros

      BambooHR is an awesome workplace. Is it perfect? No, absolutely not. Are they doing their best? Yes. Are they learning and willing to learn and keep improving? Absolutely yes.

      Cons

      As BambooHR transitions and grows from 1,000 employee company to an even bigger company, we inevitably go through the transitioning phase with some growth pain.

      Pros

      Solidly principle-oriented approach to managing a highly distributed team. Principles are well-defined and often re-iterated but individuals and teams are free to interpret these principles without having to follow complex and burdensome procedures defined in a top-down fashion.

      Cons

      They could use more senior-level cloud engineering talent and compensate highly specialized and difficult-to-recruit engineers more.
