Pros

I can't think of any.

Cons

Personally I didn't like any part of this job. Going into this I was very clear that I didn't want a position that required cold calling. They assured me that all the calls I had to make on office days were "leads". After 4 weeks of studying to get my license and doing the trainings (which the company makes you pay for everything yourself, and it's not cheap), I was ready to start my job. The first day in office I was calling non-responders...so people that didn't want to be bothered but their information had been sold online. We had a script to read which made it sound like I was a telemarketer. People were angry, annoyed and downright mean when you called. Other people were gullible and believed that they needed to buy healthcare from you, which made me feel terrible because our target calls were the elderly (people that need healthcare). Some people may enjoy this, if you do, that's great for you. Me, I was miserable. I was also told that they strive to help people. This is not the case. Everyone there was motivated by money and how many sales they could get. My passion is helping people and this job just did not allow me to do it.

Pros

If you're masochistic, this is the place for you. The products have some merit.

Cons

If you have a reserve of income for about two years, this may be an opportunity. The Tampa Bay offices are inconsistent with training, depending on the manager's whims. They have hidden sexual harassment violations that were severe with a new management team. The training is still erratic. Also, they have a number of ways they make sure that any sales you complete go to management or other office members. For example, your manager or UFT (Unit Field Trainer) gets 50% of all commissions that occur when you're with him. You must be accompanied by another member of the staff who also gets 50%. The Company takes 17% for technical and your training. They gives you nothing to speak of after any taxes. You bring your own computer/laptop. You're expected to sit and dial all day with performance calls about every 2 hours. The leads you generate are what you provide to other staff. The culture is harsh, negative and competitive. In winter, the calling room temperature was 70 degrees Fahrenheit. It's worse but there's no room left here.

Pros

warning there are no pros to this job

Cons

***WARNING*** Avoid this company at all cost because it will cost you! This is just a sweat shop and they charge you for everything. Every promise made going into the job was half truths at best. Do not believe anything they say unless it is in writing. Watch youtube videos before signing up.. This is a VERY LOW BUDGET company. None of the people that hired on with me had broken even by the time I left. Their payment plan is structured so that you will not get your money for years down the road. I left owing them money after weeks of work! Do ANYTHING other than this!
