Pros

The focus on maintaining a close culture. Flat organization with access to upper management. Entrepreneurial environment. Employees are seen as valued contributors to corporate goals and investments.

Cons

Wearing many hats provides access to a lot of interesting work, but means employees need to be good time managers or they'll find themselves in too many projects.

Thank you for your comments, and we are glad that you do enjoy coming to work at Banner. We have strived in the past several years (since your comment was made) to improve our ability to get projects done faster. Banner is a “high mix” project environment, with multiple projects going at the same time in numerous product segments. Within project category, the pace of projects can vary a great deal. Project prioritization may be one reason a project moves slower than we may want it to, and also some projects move slower simply because of the type of project it is (Machine Safety projects, for example, tend to move forward more pragmatically simply because of the inherent demands of the product segment). Also, we have introduced agile product development techniques, and better constrain the number and scope of projects in order to improve our pace of product development.
